Interior LED help

I attempted to install some LEDs in the front dome lights of my 2010 C300, using this DIY: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-clas...t-removal.html
They didn't slide right in and kept pushing the receiver piece up into the top console, so I opened the console and removed the plastic receiver pieces to insert them that way. When I put them back in, the lights wouldn't come on. They also now won't come on with the stock bulbs put back in. Any ideas on what I may have done?
Sun roof buttons still work, but the lights refuse to come on. The same leds I used in most of the other interior lights on the car, and they worked & fit fine. But in these specific lights, I had to use a lot more force.
I thought these were supposed to be the same size led as the trunk light and the door lights? I bought the led's from CARiD according to what they said would fit my car.

Any suggestions on how to remedy this would be much appreciated. Thanks

There's a possibility that you might've insert them in the wrong polarity.

I had that problem when fitting mine; I just had to turn the LEDs the other way around and reinsert them again.

Try power cycling as well, start your car and that should redo the cycle.

I tried flipping the bulbs around before, and starting the car. Those didn't work.

There is a Video on YouTube by PrecisionLED where they film replacing all of the interior lights on a W204. Maybe watch it and see if you did anything wrong. You could have broken the socket too if the regular halogens no longer work. PrecisionLED's kits also came with a set of nice hard plastic tools that you will need as well.

I watched the video before attempting to install mine. Worked for the majority of the lights, but the front dome lights, wouldn't fit properly. They were the exact same bulbs as all the others (except the rear dome, which also doesn't fit), which is what everyone says they should be.
It's like my car has different lights than everyone else, but I don't know why.
Frustrating. Guess I'll just have to take it to a shop.

Hmmm. One thing to consider as well, not all LED's are made the same! There are varying styles of LED's for the same size halogen original. I only have way trust carid with wheels and nothing else. PrecisionLED's are all engineered to be direct replacements. As well as AZ Optics.

I'll look into PrecisionLED & AZ Optics.
Thanks for the help!
