2013 C250 Sports Plus: Shift Speed Dependent on RPM?
Hi guys,
I have a 2013 C250 Sports Plus and was wondering why the shift speed varies according to the RPM in "Sports" mode. For example, if when you're in "S" mode and accelerating normally, the car upshifts at ~3k rpm. However, if you go lighter on the throttle or if you keep pressing upshift on the paddle shifter, the car may shift at 2.5k or lower rm.
When you perform these 2 different actions, you'll notice that the shift speed, or the drop in rpm, is much quicker in lower rpm than in 3k rpm.
Also when you floor it, shifts seem to be faster...
Why is that?
