Quote for fender painting . too high ?
I am replacing a cracked fender. bought an aluminum one for 100 the body shop is asking 273 for just painting it. is that too high ?

Seems about right. I went to a really good mercedes certified auto body shop. My local mercedes dealership (mb of huntington) actually brings their cars there to get touched up or something (see the dealership cars with no license plates there all the time). Charged 300 to paint my rear bumper (and fix tiny dent)

seems high though if I'm taking the fender off and putting it on. oh well. what does everyone recommend for rock chips ? its a pain with a black car

just make sure your place is good. Don't want to paint it and the color doesnt match 100%. I love my place but they are extremely arrogant and stuck up. Ask them to do anything aftermarket and they'll scoff at me :,(
