Rear Tires for 2010 C300 Sport

Rear Tires for 2010 C300 Sport
Hi to all members.
For 2010 C300 Sport the rear tires are P245/40R17 & the front tires are P225/45R17. Can you have both front & rear tires the same as the front tires size of P225/45FR17 ? It will make life easier for replacement and rotation or will make any difference to the car performance ?. I am sure someone has dealt with this issue or thought about it. Any help will be appreciated.

Yes, you can. The rear rims are wider and you should make sure all the rims are the same size. Pickup two rear rims and 225 tires ad you are good to go. You could probably run 245 all around though.
