Future of LED Styling

It seems all the new Mercedes models are getting DRLs integrated into their headlights and no longer separately mounted on the lower bumper.

In pondering whether or not I should add the 2011 LEDs to my 08 I've been thinking that separately mounted LEDs may become a thing or look of the past as most cars begin to have them integrated into their headlights, is it still a worthy mod?

what does everyone think?

Honestly I think fog lights look better then the LED's. just keep then, they are more functional then stupid led strips. As far it being an issue of it being outdated, who cares. Enjoy your car and not worry about everything trending. The integrated led lights look ricey 90% of the time anyway.

I personally prefer the look of my '11 .... for some reason the new style just is not done as cool looking as Audi first did theirs ...

Lighting is much better. As for the looks, there is not much difference. Like you said in your comments it's more of a trend look. If you like the newer look or older, I'd say newer

Not a fan of foglights and functionally, they're quite useless here (no winter or morning dews). The amount of crazy drivers here really makes the function of the DRL shine for its safety use. However, MB's decision of ditching the bumper DRLs...makes me a sad panda. I prefer if they had stick to the bumpers instead of the headlights though, but a change is always welcome.

I'm sick of these car manufacturers jumping on the christmas lights! and they are way over doing it. The jaguar ones look horrid. so do some others. MB as well on the headlight of the new CLS! I like what Audi is doing with the tube lighting rather than separate LED's! But this christmas lights on cars is getting out of hand!!!
