Can This Be Fixed With Touch up Paint?
So somebody, whether it was vandalism or a car door, did this to my dad's beautiful C250:
Freaking A-holes man...i hate this town
. Anyways...i dont know if this can be fixed at home, i am not great with sanding and painting and all of that...i thought maybe i could ask you guys and see what you guys thought...

There is still a dent. The person mustve hit the car with alot of pressure to dent the door and scratch the door. If you touch it up, it'll still stick out like a sore thimb

. We got that paintless dent removal thing from the dealer when we bought the car, but it needs to be repainted now anyways. How much would fixing a dent like this run?

When we bought the car, we paid extra for the paintless dent removal service; i am going to call them up tommorow and see what they say. Also, the area needs to be painted as well...

Call the dealership and ask who they use for mobile paint repair for their cars on their lot. They normally have someone to come out at a scheduled date and knock out several cars on the lot. They do a really good job and you will never know it was there.

just a word of caution, alot of times those protections you get from a the dealer are worthless. The dent one I've had a friend who got it and they won't deal with a dent if their is paint loss.

Yeah i just read the coverage details; they will only pull the dent if there is no paint damage. I called up the dealership today and got the number of their mobile dent guy. I have sent him the pictures, lets see what he says. Hopefully it can be fixed and then some touch up paint can be applied. If not, i'll have to take the car to the body shop.
