Becker nav

So my 2013 c250 has the becker navigation module in the glove box, but I can't figure out how to remove it. It doesnt have a tab you press to release it like the manual shows, so I'm wondering if anyone else has come across this and knows how to get it out. I didn't want to start pulling it like heman out of there.

There is a 1" tab in the middle towards the top- Push it in and then pull the unit out. Our units are installed upside down compared to the manual.

awesome video to show. So it appears I do not have the little slide release on mine. I guess I'll be taking it to the dealership.

Is it possible they mounted it sideways? In the Coupe- I can see the cutouts in the black liner where the connectors are. If the holes are on the side of of the glovebox- the button is on the opposite side of the connector.

Looks like it is broken. Even the instructions on the Becker site show installation and removal like I showed. Try sliding an old credit card in to the slot or maybe a plastic knife gently into the slot to hit the release.
I haven't tried this alternative but its worth a try unless you want to take it to the dealership.

finnally got the little card from the dealer since mine didn't come with one. Already updated my module. Seems to be better with the new software.
