Question about removing C300 display monitor
Hello all,
I bought a GPS unit that I am trying to install in my 2011 C300, but I am running into an issue when trying to remove the stock screen. I am able to pull the unit out, but there are a couple of cables that I am having trouble removing. I was able to see the part number of one of them: A2044409432. I am not sure how to disconnect this. It has a silver head connected to the back of the screen unit and I have not been able to find any tutorials on how to remove this. There is also a similar looking cable connected to the back of the CD player that I am also not able to remove. Does anyone have any experience with this? I spent a long time disassembling the entire monitor and cd player before realizing that I wasn't able to disconnect those cables, only to reassemble the entire thing until I'm able to find a solution. Your help is greatly appreciated!
