c350 lcd removal

ok so my screen of course has the black screen syndrome.... now I want to replace the LCD screen or at least see if I can repair it. I have the comand screen out of the dash, but does anyone know how to remove the actual screen?

Okay so i went ahead and did it on my own. I fix the screen problem. Might not be the best way of repairing it but it works so far.


On the very corner of the screen you can see where its burnt. Seems like it overheat and melted the wire. I went ahead and took apart the actual screen and notice that on the very edge is uses bulbs to light up the screen. Found out that the light werent turning on and was why the screen wouldnt lite up. I went ahead and solder the wire back together to the bulb and the screen worked again.

I realize after i should of took more pictures so i can do a DIY but i put the screen back on the car cause i was over joy that i didnt have to spend more then 200$ to get it fixed. So you need help please PM me or Email chopper63d@gmail.com.
