2011 C300

Hey all,

I finally got rid of my 2008 C300 and got an arctic white 2011 c300 4 matic sport with Multimedia and pano with ash leather inserts.

Few concerns,

The car has 14k miles 1 owner, got it about a week ago.

It is CPO, and I bought an extended warranty so all together I have warranty until 2020ish .

The vehicle came from another authorized dealership in Illinois and my dealership in Iowa purchased it from them and I bought it from them.

The VMI that my dealership pulled up shows nothing but a New York Safety inspection, there is nothing about Service A being done and or Service B being done, in which in my case seems a little odd as it's supposed to go through the Mercedes Benz network by vin if i am not wrong.

So I took it in yesterday for some issues, vibration at high speeds, some paint chips getting touched up , ipod distortion and wheel scuffs and also had some codes in the engineering menu about low voltage. Also asked them to do some measurements on the brake pads and rotors since I never received a CPO inspection report with the specs .

Few Questions to those of you who might have answers

Why wouldn't Service A&B show up on the VMI if they claim they did in fact flush the brake fluid and do those services ?

The rear rotors were resurfaced and pads were changed but both from and rear seem rusted and bumpy and braking seems very loose and not very firm. Any ideas? They claim the pads and rotors meet the cpo requirements for thickness. Anyone know the specs?

Just Concerned, as they've hid stuff and CPO'd my last 2008 when it shouldn't have been then claimed it was a "lemon".

What would other members suggest or do in my position ? Tired of being lied to and threatened by the dealership GM due to my age .

Thanks,

Will post some pics later.

Contact the Attorney General in the state of purchase-file a complaint for deceptive or unfair trade practices.

I bought a C300, 2011, CPO, and love it-it's been flawless. I'm in Seattle. Mine had 10,000 miles and the oil had been changed.

By the way, anyone, my selling dealer changed the oil in July 2012, at about 10,000 and I'm coming up on 16,000. Should I change the oil or wait until July? (I drive mostly in the city.)

Thanks

I bought a non-CPO 2011 C300 with 11,500 miles and its oil had been changed. It's due again (time wise) in 20 days. Car has 15,400 now.

I'd wait until July. 6K miles is nothing for a good synthetic oil, especially considering your engine's large oil sump.
