C300 vs C350

C300 vs C350
I just noticed that the 2013 C300 and C350 share the same engine, 3.5L GDI.
C300: 248 HP, 251 Lb-Ft
C350:. 302 HP, 273 Lb-Ft
Since the V6 in the C300 is under-tuned, will the engine be more reliable in the long run? My reasoning is this engine will have to work much less in day-to-day driving.
Decides the engine, are there any differences in other components, like suspensions and other performance pars?

The current C300 is only available with the drastically detuned 3.5L engine and 4Matic. The C350 is not available with 4Matic. Many feel that this puts MB in utter disgrace, and probably attempting to tune the C300 ECU to 300 HP will void all engine and drivetrain warranties.
On the other hand, the 2013 C300 certainly provides a performance advantage over the 2008-2011 3.0L C300 4Matic, albeit at a much higher price.

Yes that's correct the C350 4Matic available in Canada for $7,710 CDN more. If the C300 4Matic could be retuned for $1k, that would be quite a savings. This detuning and rebadging by MB is a shameful disgrace! Identical vehicle with different software for a $7,710 CDN difference. Havent looked if the standard equipment is identical, though.
