I know how to temporary parking with N by removing the gear glove. But it not comfortable sometimes.
Anyone know the method how to unlock permanently in order to parking with N ? Because at my parking lot , there are a need to move the car sometime because of congest parking.

How to remove the key while keeping the car in neutral. Essentially 'parking' the car in neutral.

So OP is referring to the emergency gear selector release that is accessed by removing the Shift boot? I read the original post again and somewhat understand why- but I can't believe anyone leave their Mercedes like that. Do they really push cars around? What about the steering wheel lock?
This situation has dented doors and bumpers written all over it.

Ask a MB tech if the park pall in the auto GB could be removed permanently.

In Paris you do not apply your handbrake when parking. Just leave the car in gear so it can be nudged by others parking in a tight space.

Good question panjap.

Its normally to leave the car to N parking here. Or your car may get damage or flat tire if they can't push your car away in very crowd parking lot.

Bangkok, Thailand. Parking lot in the town here is very crowd and roller parking is acceptable but need to park at N.

I saw my friend 's car doing this permanent "N" parking by Benz Technician in less than 10 minute, that why I want to know how to do.

Not really going to be helpful with how to do the parking in N but, you may want to do a clear vinyl wrap if they are going to be pushing your car near any other object. I'd hate to come out to my new car and have my bumpers scraped up. Not sure how bad it gets since we don't do that in the states.

The MB tech may be able to by-pass the In Park limit switch to enable the car to think it is in Park when it is in Neutral. An auto electrician may be able to do it too. You could have a switch on the dash to switch when parking to by-pass the park switch .

The other was as I mentioned before is to remove the parking pall from the gearbox so the car can move when in park & the key can be removed from the ignition.

Let us know how to fare.

A week in Paris may be just what you need to relax a little more.

Why don't you ask your friend or just have the tech do it? What did you see the tech do and was it an older model? As far as I know you can't do this.

Yes, I think it should have some dip switch below a driver side 's console. It has no need to make another switch on the dash because another my w204 sedan unlock it already but my C coupe didn't do this yet that why I like to know how to do.

Remove the gear glove method is ok but I am aware that it might be broke soon because gear glove cover made from plastic.
