Mechanical key release switch color

Keeping up with my string of newbie questions... I've noticed that on the two electronic keys for my car the release switch for the mechanical backup key is a different color. On one key it is a black slider and on the other key it is a gray slider. Is there any purpose to this? Maybe to designate different keys if you have the memory seat?

It's just to differentiate the keys.

Even with memory seats, that info is not tied to the key (sadly...)

wouldn't the grey one be the "valet" key? similar to traditional keys in other cars?

Just checked - neither the manual or brochure mention anything being tied to the key
