How TO REMOVE HEAD REST w204
Im posting this after spending hours tying to find an answer on here.
mine was broken and was quotes £270 for the part only..
Luckily you can swap head rests with passenger seat/ driver.
its actually really easy. only a screw driver and 10 mins required
Firstly Lower seat , lean back rest forward and push forward (all for easy of access and working )
Remove Ignition Key !!!!!
get your fingers to the bottom of the back rest pocket evenly (plenty of force needed) tug the bottom , dont worry there are no clips to break.
lift up and slide off.
unclip the SRS air bag wire the enters the head rest (remember ignition off)
lift up the small piece of fabric and leather on the left hand bar of the head rest ..
You will see a chrome chip and above that a squared/spring,
simply nudge that a lift off.
swap and your done..
remember to connect srs connectors.
to refit the back panel evenly lay on the back and push up then hit in the bottom.

I popped the spring clip out of place...help please
I pushed too hard on the spring clip and it popped out of place. How can it be put back in its place? I just can't figure it out.
