2011 Mercedes Benz C-300 4 Matic
Engine Code P0013
I have a 2011 Mercedes Benz C-300 4-matic that I repaired after front end accident. Vehicle is ready to go except having problems with P0013 (right side camshaft exhaust has open circuit) engine code keeps coming back on. I can reset code but after running and turning car off then on it comes back on. I have switched Cam sensors from Bank 2 to Bank 1 and still comes back with Code P0013. Wiring was checked and no breaks identified. At one point, ran only with Bank 2 firing. Looking for suggestions.

Dude,if both camshaft actuator has been swap and the lines been checked, then try to actuate both actuators and have the M.E. (Engine control) unit check for new software update. If a new software is available then have it install together with SCN (Software calibration) coding.
All this things can only be done in your dealer as they have the equipment to performed the work.
One more thing is,I am thinking of the possibility that the problem is the right camshaft hall sensor, exhaust side is the one causing your engine warning display on and not actually the camshaft actuator.
