W204 Navigation Command Issue

So couple days ago my nav stopped turning on automatically with the ignition. I can turn it on manually and off manually. Everything works, sound, sirius, nav, etc. However it no longer communicates with the car, thus why it does not come on automatically. According to engineer mode diag, DTCC146 lost com. with CGW. What does this mean? Will I have to replace the front SAM/CGW? Any help or advice would be great. I am out of warranty. First issue I have had with the car.

CGW is Central Cateway, in this case this is the front SAM or the EZS (ignition lock) unit.

Take it to a dealer and see if they can recode the CGW using SCN

*Update*
So the dealer could not find anything wrong, except for it appeared the SAM/CGW only acts weird when I have my automatic headlights enabled. When I turn that off, the Command appears to work correctly. I do have those after market taillights that look like the 2013 with the "neon" look. I also have aftermarket HID as well. Weird never had any issue before with this setup, is it possible that my tail lights or head lights are really causing an issue with the SAM? Anyway I could know for sure, or tests to try besides taking them completely out?

Thanks,
