The problem with a diesel particulate filter on the C204 2.2CDI 2009
Good evening, everyone. In stock MB C204 2.2 CDI 2009, Euro5, 170 mileage t.km. A week ago, felt a reduction of dynamics (lost traction) car, then fired up check engine, has become increasingly incorporated regeneration. The next day, refueled at another gas station - the car went, the check goes out. After 3 days, the same thing happened again. Diagnostics indicated - a problem in the diesel particulate filter. What advise:
remove the filter-flashing the ECU with a further (but they say that climbing in the brain may lead to new errors will be on the cold start black smoke);
-say that you can filter and drill the problem will go away;
, put a new filter (not the original, because the original price is almost 3 times as much as the difference, they say, is no.)
Sam is more tuned to the new filter. Can anyone experienced this that suggest?

Particulate filter on C220
Try taking for a good hard blast on the highway (above 90 kms/hr). That may clear the particulate filter. if you do a lot of town or slow driving it gets blocked up and needs a high speed run to clear it. Just my non-technical answer - works for my car!
