2012+ C Class Radio Removal

Hello everyone, I have a 2012 C250 and I'm looking for instructions on how to remove the radio. I have searched everywhere I can think of but the only tutorials I've seen anywhere on the forums are instructions on how to remove the older version of the radio with the flip up screen. Can anyone tell me how I would remove the radio on the C250?

Thank you,
James

See this thread. Post #11 & 12. I would highly recommend buying a trim removal pry bar set. They come in sets with different sizes and cost ~$10-$20.

Edit: Some tips based on the instructions in the thread. Start prying near the outer edge of the dash trim and work your way to the vents. The two clips on the edge of the vent end are a b!tch to pop out, I find it's easier to use a pair of small pry bar from both the bottom and top and apply pressure on both at the same time. If you have all the other clips already out at this point it'll make things a lot easier. Once all the clips are popped out, then you can use your small pointer tool to pry the tabs inside the vents to fully release that trim piece. To remove the HU, you don't need to remove the screws entirely, you just need to loosen them, then push down on the screw heads. Keep loosening the screws and them pushing down until the HU is released. It will easily slide out, if you pull on the HU and it's still tight, just loosen the screws more and try again.
