Just got another one at the Mercedes dealership.They do a pretty good job and it's only five minutes away. Anyone else enjoy this perk?

 

The auto group I purchased from offers this service. If I bring it to the their BMW dealership, their Chef cooks me breakfast (omelet, waffle etc.) while I wait. The MB Dealership only has pastry or ice cream. I can also schedule service and they will come pick up the car,leave me a loaner C-Class, and return it when they are done. Nice perk since I live 45 minutes from their MB Dealership.

 

I thought I was doing good with the free wash but you have some dealers down there AkaSigFreak!

 

My dealership offers similar perks. They order free lunch for you if you schedule an appointment during lunch time, give rides and pick you up from the airport, Starbucks coffee, and send people out to wash your car while you are at work. The only complaint is getting the finance guy to call me back when I was trying to get the extended warranty.

 

My dealer has some nice perks as well. Free breakfast and lunch. They will come wash your car at your house, they have a van for it. Or you can bring it in and they will wash it for free. They will also give you a free ride to the airport from your house and back when you return. They pick up your car for service and return it later and will even bring a loaner if requested. Our dealership is building a new place and they're offering spas and massages now too, with Starbucks Coffee inside as well. They lend you iPads preloaded with games, videos, and other apps and have computer work stations if you need to use them. Great place to spend some time when having your car serviced or washed.

Plaza Motors in St. Louis doesn't offer any perks... that i"m aware of. I'm living in the wrong area!

 

Free carwash at a dealer just means you will have paint swirls in no time.

 

I'm in DFW too....did you by chance get your car at Park Place? They kiss your butt, but I still don't think I'll let them wash my 2013 black c class.

 

My dealer does it too, but they does a ****ty job.

 

My dealer in Natick MA offers that to the tune of $2199 for 5 years of prepaid maintenance. That's $500 more than Mercedes' suggested retail!

 

I get a car wash every time I bring my car in for service but that's really the only time. It would be nice if I can just take it in anytime to just get it washed haha.

 

Amen. Pretty much anyone outside of yourself washing the car will result in swirls... people just don't care.

This is a bit of a sore subject for me, as I am dropping my car off at the body shop tomorrow for the 3rd comeback from repairs in my accident in December. This one is for them to buff the swirls out of my newly painted hood...

 

Sure did PP in Grapevine. Nice dealership and I'll let them wash it once a year for servicing, but I just can't trust anyone else to take proper care of it. If you have a black car I sure wouldn't let anyone wash it other than yourself.

 

I don't really mind a few swirls. It would be different if I had a black car though.
