Offset trouble... Help!
Hey,
I drive a 2010 C350 4Matic.
I am looking at putting Lexani R-Seven's on it in place of my original rims.
My question is, will this rim/tire combo work without rubbing?
Front: 19X8.5 245/35 ET45 (I believe this will be fine)
Rear: 19x9.5 275/30 ET45 (8mm less inner clearance, 18mm extra outside)
Anybody know whether not these will be fine?
And also if the rears will be an eyesore out that much?
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Thank you!

I wonder how much leeway we actually have to work with here...
I'm trying to get the tightest fit.
In the rear, I think there is only like 18mm between the stock 18x8.5's and the fender and a 20x10ET55 puts it pretty much exactly at the fender.
And you have no problem with clearance on the hub side?
I think the stock rim is (from the hubface) approx. 162mm back. and your set up is 182 back so we must have a good 25mm leeway do we?

MBWorld Fanatic!
My stock rear wheels are 8.5" ET54, my new wheels 10" ET55, a difference of 1.5" in total, but only 0.75" 19mm.s in each direction -1mm in ET so my new wheels are 18mm wider outwards than stock, I might pull off 275 tires without rubbing but I doubt it.

18mm outwards in the rear is exactly what I'm going for.
I phoned my local custome wheel and tire specialists who told me that I can't go any further INWARDS than stock but this obviously isn't the case if you're .75" in and not rubbing...
I wish people would start to take customer service seriously...
And to think, I was actually going to get rims off these guys. Guess it's to the internet for me! (Like any sensible person would do)
