Crashed!

Got into a accident on the road this afternoon
Not a major accident, however the tip of my hood was bent and my grill pretty much shattered.

I rammed into the back of a SUV as a E class in front of them conducted a emergency braking when a van decided to swerve in front of her, not knowing what has happened in front due to the SUV's size, my foot was late on the brakes.

New grill and hood, not too bad. Hopefully nothing else needs replacing. I almost did the same thing the other day. I stopped within MM of the car in front of me phew!

Any damage at all to the bumper?
To look on the bright side, this may be a good chance to go with a C63 style hood and grill if you like.

Lucky man!! yea fortunately the damages will be covered through insurance, took a better examination of the damage tonight, the bumpers are slightly scratched up, but luckily the sensors and the headlights are all in perfect condition

Just scratches on the bumpers. But thats not a bad idea haha but I'm driving a CDI engine which I think isn't suitable for the C63 styling, though I wouldn't mind exchanging for the Sports AMG bumpers, those are quite rare at where I live.

Ouch!! Almost had this happen to me.
Got a tire put on and on the HIGHWAY felt wobbly...
Decided to pull over and I had 2 lugs left... One of which was less than hand tight.

But yes maybe this is a blessing in disguise.. Minor damage... Major benift in styling if you put on new hood and grill?

Pros and Cons to every situation!

Friend of mine who drives a 1-series experienced lugs falling off during a ride, and he had just left from a authorized BMW dealer as well...

Definitely Pros for this opportunity to unstock my ride lol

If you have a few dings when driving into a roundabout every one is careful to give way !!

Not worth fixing. Wait for another few lived in scrapes & save on the insurance.

Can't really see the damages from a distance bcuz its a black car, don't think its helpful in a roundabout situations, but I do get some odd looks as I enter car parks and ppl checking out the car and giving me the look, guess no one is really used to a damaged Mercedes driving around the road.

On the other hand, I can barely close the hood down due to the front edges being bent inwards.

Can you take a mallet and bang it back? maybe a good body shop can bang it back into shape for a few bucks.

I suppose it can be done, but may take abit of effort as the tip of the hood is knocked inwards, now my ride looks like its got a grin with chipped tooth lol

But im sure insurance will sort it out for me, as i need to cover for the other person's damage aswell.
