Finally got all my mods on!! :-D

So I finally had a chance to put all the mods on my car that I have had sitting around my house. Shinned er up and snapped some quick pics. Still have more I want to do but bills and adulthood gets in the way sometimes. Damn responsibilities. Lol. The aftermarket scene for Benz on here is very informative and i would never be comfortable modding this car if it was not for this forum. Props to everyone on here sharing info. Way more knowledge here than any stealership.

Nice looking C-Class buddy!
When you find out how to get the headlight housing black let me know would ya? Hahaha!

Did you have to do anything special with the rears or do the 20x10's fit? What the offset on those sexy rims of yours?

I pulled the fenders but still get a little rub with weight in the back on turns and big bumps. I need to change the rear rubber if I want to eliminate that. Just didnt want to spend $800 on two tires, so I cheaped out. Not 100% sure on the offsets. I'll have to check. But it's flush with the fenders.

Thumbs up

Nice! I especially like the pic with your car in the center of the street looking forward. How did you get the perspective?

Found a setting on my camera that is similar to a "fish bowl" lense. Thought it liked pretty sick and made the black pop a lot more.

If I stretched some toyos on the rear like the fronts I could put springs in. But I was to cheap to spend $800plus tax on two tires. We get fisted in Canada for everything. Lol

Dude, I thin it looks great... but.... the license plate. That just does not look right. No symmetry... I actually purchased a european plate, customized with my state plate numbers.... so far so good... been a few months, and nobody has stopped me... it is reflective too...

That's pretty sick. I'd totally do something like that but in Ontario they are horrible for that kind of stuff. I wasn't even going to put it back on but id get tickets every other day for sure. I just hated how the plate took away from the front and that was my only option.

Oh snap boo!!

Lol wow. You just made me shed a single tear. Well lets put it this way technically fog lights are suppose to be yellow. But please feel free to argue. And as for the spoiler well personal preference. Turns me on more. Gets me all excited. To each their own.

yea don't worry i'm not trying to offend you just giving my opinion.
why should fog leds be supposed to be yellow btw?
front fog lights are ment to help you get a better view and not to make you more noticeable

there is a forum member on here who opens up the headlights and paints them any color you want from the inside. seals them up like they were from factory! i got mine done by him and a great price, he is located in los angeles, ca so you would have to ship him your headlights.

With a C230 you must be in Canada. Where did you find the ECU flash?

Thanks,

AH

Ya I am. I got my flash done by Eurocharged. I would totally recommend it. Makes a big difference and is affordable. There is a US location and a guy in Toronto who will come to you to do it. Being that your in vancity makes it a little more difficult though. Lol. However he does make trips to major city's across Canada threw out the year. They also have a remote tune option but it really depends on the car if its supported or not.

Best thing to do is shoot him an email.

Www.Eurocharged.ca. Message mike and tell him you were talking to me (Matt)

Ya unfortunately it's my daily driver so that might not work out to well. Lol. I've been thinking about doing it myself but need to find another set of headlights incase I butcher mine. Lol. And we get fisted for shipping and all that here in Canada. Almost cheaper to find a set of headlights and try it myself instead of sending it to LA. But def some good info.

White is going to reflect a lot more than yellow off of the fog. Which means better vision. That's why you don't use high beams in fog.

That's completely true. Yellow is best for visibility.

Ya I will do that thanks. I assume this voids warranty so I may have to wait until next April. Did you notice a big increase with the 10% increase?
