my bulbs and LED's always break after a while due to heat and/or amperage
i think i'll replace them with a high heat resistant LED strip connected to the outer socket and just put a resistor in the inner sockets

Your suppose to plug them in all the way and then pull them out slightly. This way they won't over heat. Asianoptics is the only way to go. I've had them in for almost a year and no problem.

they are fit the way they should. if i leave them out of the socket (not the power socket but the fitting) and let them on for a while i can't even put my finger on it due to the heat

Ya they get hot. Very hot. That's why your not suppose to push them all the way in.
