I went to MB today and asked about the lights all being on. Every person in the service and shop said they are always on and the cars they were working on today all had them on all the time. I am so confused here. There is a difference in programming for certain cars? I can't see that but appears to be so. I am wondering if certain C Class years had different programming....?

Here are some of the photos I just took a few minutes ago. The transmission is on D (two big wood blocks on the front wheels), foot brake is dissabled. The only light you can see turned on is the low beam DRL and nothing else.

Like I said nothing else is turned on other than the DRLs and that includes the two yellow side markers on the bumper. I only see this turned on during night time. I did not took a picture of those a while ago but they are definitely not turned on.

Here's what mine looks like. The car is also in D, no foot brake. Perhaps the lights are programmed different for different years? I think mine and Dolvio are 2010, and Shotgun has a 2009? I have been distracted more than once on the road whenever I see another c250/300/350 trying to see their lightings.

The dealer told me yesterday they all have the ora ge lights on. Now, obviously that's not the case. I am betting it is a 2010+ thing. Certain things changed in this model year.

Obviously the dealer just doesn't want to deal with it as I see C-Classe's all the time with lights off during the day.
