headlight bubbling / melting
I picked up my first Mercedes back in May and the headlight was like this when I got it. At first, I thought maybe someone got a lighter hot and pressed it against the headlight... until I noticed the light beams line up with bubbling. It might be hard to tell in the pictures but the bubbling is coming from the inside -> out
I work next door to the dealership so when I brought it over, my lights were on for maybe 5 minutes at most, the service guy said both lights felt extremely hot for having just been turned on. They said it'll be repaired under warranty (hooray for saving me $600

Has anyone seen this before? I'm not sure if there's aftermarket bulbs in there, something I'm going to ask them to replace or I'll do it myself. I'm curious how this happens.
