1/4 mile slips stock vs 1/4 mile slips tuned
So I have been searching around, the tune for our c300 gets approx 20 hp and 15 lb of torque (or whatever the numbers are.)
The truth of the matter is numbers are fine and cool to brag about,(or in this case to be ashamed about) but what do these numbers actually result to?
I don't know if it's just me but I could care less if a dyno says X amount of horsepower and X amount of torque. Ultimately if the tune gains 1/2 a second or something very significant in the 1/4 mile times then its worth it!
Has anyone actually tracked their c300 4matic stock versus after a tune or after a tune and exhaust system?
thanks!

I completely agree, I do not enjoy drag racing any longer as it has become boring to me.
However, my question was to try and get some concrete evidence of improved times in the 1/4 mile with a tune. Better yet what does 60' look like stock versus tuned. (not 0-60, 60')
no one has any evidence of this?? Everyone that gets a tune done just relies that it "feels" faster.

It is not relies on, it IS faster. C'mon, you can tell if a car is faster or not. You are right that the HP number really does not matter. Neither does the 0-60 or qtr mile. It matters how the car drives and performs in the real world.
Kleeman offers to run your car on their dyno before and after. Head on over to Colorado Springs, COand git r dun
I would say stick with what you have and eliminate the possibility of being disappointed.
