Question Installing Door Pins

Are these difficult to install? I don't care for the plastic pins as they are right where I would rest my arm. I don't want to tear the door apart to put these in though either.

TIA

the front ones will unscrew off, the back ones you can just pull them off. Learned this the hard way lol.

I did a ton of reading trying to find a straight answer to wether or not the amg pins sit flush with the front doors. Finally i settled and bought this set of 4 pins for about 50 bucks!

They sit flush, a breeze to install and they dont have the amg logo. I put the on a 2013 c250 sport

Hope this helps!

I'm considering purchasing these. What method did you use to secure the rear door pins? Did you use the super glue method, or did you take off your door panel?

Hey Richard, i did not put anything. I just snap them on.
I actuated the lock several times and they stayed on... Lets see for how long!

I did not take the door panels off, doing all 4 pins took all of 10 minutes

I am myself waiting for these as well. Ordered on Monday so we'll see how long they take to get here.

Thanks! Just to confirm a little. The front doors screw on and off. The rear doors, you pulled straight up to remove then pushed straight down to put the new ones on. Did this require a lot of force? I've read past threads where people were scared to push too hard.

Do your door pins go all the way down or stick up a little so you can pull them up with your hands? I know the original plastic ones stick up about 1 inch after the doors are locked.

All 4? I thought the rears still stuck out going by the pics. I think my lazy *** is finally sold if all 4 are flush.

You may have thought that the rears stuck out slightly because of past threads where people have used the super glue method to attach the rears instead of snapping the rears on due to possibly breaking something by pressing too hard.

I would think if Cillys actually popped them on instead of gluing them on like some past members have done, they would be flush.
