New Member - New Car W204 Avantgarde 2013 C220CDI
Hello MB colleagues,
I just received my new MB C220CDI, Avantgarde model, Black with beige seats.
I took a few options as the ILS, Comand Online, cruise control, parktronic and some other comfort options,
I had the Pre-facelift model, exactly the same, but they're some changes.
For instance, the ILS, in the previous model, the big lights were powered on automatically whenever it was needed. now it's anymore, unless you pay for it.
I already had a look in the Engineering menu to find out if it was possible to enable it, but did not found it yet,
anyone, same story for all other gadgets and security assists like lane assists.
I'm happy with the car,

Interested to know the Kw & Nm outputs , your diesel consumptions & whether you have a Diesel Particulate Filter?

Whenever I drive the sportive way, it goes up to 7,5/8.0L/100KM,
it has approximately 165HP and 400 NM, it has a Diesel Particulate Filter. at least it should have, no idea how I can check this.
I will probably a reprogrammation of the engine which will lead to 210HP & 520NM,
I did on my previous one, no issues at tall, only the pleasure part increases, and to drive it's more easier, it runs smoother,
In belgium, due regulations Mercedes has to decrease the power and the CO emmission which result that the engines are not running smoothly as the should.
for instance now, the 1st & 2nd gear are quit slowly, I bet the C200 is quicker, afterwards it won't, strangely enough.

Hey MB Guys,
Some hot news,
I upgraded the ECU to get some more power.
We put it the first time on the 4X4 Dyno bank to measure the HP/torque, the results were already quite good. 178HP / 420 NM for the C220CDI. After the upgrade we reached 221HP / 520NM torque. I must say the car is just running smoother, it is more streamlined. I seems just to drive easier now. Off course you feel that yu have a bite more power, but on a C220CDI it is not a huge huge difference.
I will upload some pictures as well.
