Non-staggered but flush?
If I go 18x8.5 with 45 offsets what size tires do I need to be flush?

The +45 won't put you flush, I went +35F and +33R just to get close. Running 225/40 all around.

You'll want to get spacers to push you flush, not tire size. Just get the tires installed, and measure the distance from fender lip to wheel and get the appropriate spacers.

I have the stock 18" amg's right now (18x8 et50 front, 18x8.5 et54 rear). Had to put 5mm spacers in the front & 12mm spacers in the rear....barely flush. Hope that helps you decide what size of spacers you need.

The 12mm is not that big really but yes you need longer lug bolts for both.
