Need to Convert single tip to quad tips
Hi all,
I have a 2013 W204 C180 with AMG package , I am looking to remove the single tailpipe on the left side and replace with dual twin pipes, i will buy the C63 diffuser, anyone tried the below muffler tips? or any recommendation to convert it.
Thanks in advance ...

I've seen a very similar style on eBay but I have not heard any member who actually installed it on their car. There are pictures in this link to reference. Good luck.

If I were you, I would do this properly. I would split the single exhaust into dual. There is a thread on here somewhere and I will try and find it. Add in a second muffler and two nice tips. This is a longer term solution and I do like the dual exhaust look. Keep in mind that certain cars on the road today still have single exhaust tips and duals are not the be all and end all.

Agree^
The assembly per OP is an exact fitment to replace the OEM muffler tip. Less work! I did mine like this without the interconnect.
There are plenty of helpful information posted in this forum.
But if you are after the look and not too crazy about the exhaust noise level, get a c300 muffler + Quad tips of your choice + C63 diffuser.
Bottom line, get it done right and professionally.

2007 C230 Sport AMG Package
Will work fine!
The above isn't a poser look like some retard mentioned on your forum but rather an exhaust modification similar to a headlight modification for example. the trouble with this set-up is it is cheap and you will notice exhaust is really only coming out of the driver side on a cold day.

Don't do that mod. Do it the right way.
I make a lot of YouTube "how to" videos for mods on a w204 c-class. Luckily I did a video on how to convert a single tip to quad and get awesome sound. Check it out.

what if I just cut some of the original tip off and weld the quad tip on?

If you have a C300 or C350, then you'll have quads but you won't really get an improvement from sound. Plus you will still need to by a new diffuser to accommodate quad tips.
At the end of the day, it's up to you.
Goodluck man!

You can but if you have a C250...that won't give you quad tips.
