Driving without TPMS?

benefitting from PK_'s 'boneing' I managed to snag his nice set of OEM 17" Merc alloys with the winter tires fitted. No TPMS fitted unfortunately so to get them retro fitted to the wheels would cost a bit in parts and labour at the tire centre.
Does driving without TPMS affect the car's handling in anyway? Besides a light on the dash, does it cause any harm to the car?

No, wont affect handling but its nothing for the tire shop to break the bead and fold the tire down and slide one in and balance.
