2012 C250
First time owner!
I just purchased my first Mercedes Benz. I picked up a 2012 C250 sport with 17K. I put the clay bar and wax to it this last weekend and couldn't be happier.
I don't think however that the previous owner put much in, in the way of upgrades; seems like a lot of things aren't available. Such as voice control and audible text from my phone. Is there a way to turn these on? The button for the voice control is on the wheel however it does nothing. As far as the text reader goes; the text option is there in the phone menu but just shows a message stating that there are no messages. I am using an iPhone so it is MAP compliant.
Other than those couple of things I am excited about the aquisition!

Voice Control: Do you have command/navi? If not, the voice control will not work. It comes with that system.
Txt Msg......In your Iphone, go to Settings> Bluetooth> Click the (i) next to MB Bluetooth > and Put a green mark on "Show Notifications".
Turn bluetooth off then on to reset. Also turn bluetooth off and on in your C250 as well.
Let us know if that works.
