Center Mounted Brake Light Removal?
Been searching/Googling to see how the center brake light is removed, but can't find a good answer, so am asking here.
I need to remove it to troubleshoot whether it's really dead/flaky or not. I used to get the error msg infrequently, but now it's every time I start the car. The msg pops up and no illumination of the light when depressing the brake pedal.
As I have a P1 car w/o folding seats, I see no way to get to it from the trunk, so am assuming the light, along with the mesh screen/trim that runs the entire width of the rear windshield, is held in by tabs? If so, then releasing them should be easy w/ a panel removal tool?
