Question iPod Cable Issue
My w204 C300 non-navi iPod cable needs to be replaced. The white plug got smashed while closing the glove compartment, and now the cables are exposed. The plug cover is completely damaged

Has anybody gone through this before? Is there an easy DIY for me to do this?
Any ideas if an ebay cable will do the trick?

If you are comfortable soldering, then buy a cheap ipod cable from the dollar store, and solder the connector back onto your old cable... assuming it is the ipod end that got smashed, of course.
