changing to just quad tips can make car loud? or do i have to change the muffler to make it loud? i have the 2010 c300 stock. replace the muffler cost me too much. any advices?

x pipe will allow you to pass smog. any muffler shop can do it, cost is going to be anywhere from 80-160
