I have been researching about the crushed ipod cable in my glove compartment of my 09 c300. . I know what it looks like in both ends and even part numbers. It seems that is compatible with older models. Now, I want to try to replace the damn cable myself. I would like to know where is the module that the cable connects to. See pics below.

Where is this module located so I can run a new cable with the white tip that connects to my ipod?

It is usually tucked behind the passenger side kick-panel.

Follow the cable it's only about a foot long.
