2011 C300 Speaker Replacement

2011 C300 Speaker Replacement
Hi I have a 2011 C300 with MM system but doesn't have HK Audio.
I don't know if it comes with better speakers than basic Audio20 system, but to be honest I didn't notice the difference compare to the loaners.
So even if MM system has better speakers than base ones, they might be okay but still it's not enough for me.
Long story short, I've done some research and found out that you guys recommend just to replace stock speakers to Infinity speakers.
So what I'm planning is Kappa 60.9cs for the front and Reference 6032si for the rear. And possibly subwoofers in the trunk.
Since the 6032si says shallow mount, I'm curious whether rear speakers has to be shallow mount ones or just for the convenience of work.
And I've noticed that most of the folks here who replaced speakers used stock head unit(which I'm also planning to) but does it still sounds nice? Or is it worth getting external amplifiers for the speakers?
Lastly, if I put subwoofers, do you guys recommend one of 12" or like two of 10"s?
