2008 C300 Sport Iphone 5 Support
I just bought a 2008 C300, it had the dealership iPod hookup in the glove box but it is the older generation connector and will not plug into my iPhone 5. Would a converter work? has anyone run into this as well?

Yes, a regular old gen. iphone - i5 Lightning cable converter will work. I saw them for sale on a gas station counter for something around $5.99 and it works perfect on my '11 C300.

I ran an extension older iPod cable connected to the stock iPod cable in the glove box out and underneath the passenger area trim and then attached an Apple 30 pin to Lightning connector cable and it charges my 5S (and older 5) with no issues.
