Help!! Accleration problems - C300
I have a 2008 C300 that has about 120,000 miles on it. Sometimes the car has problems accelerating. the accelaration is a bit weak...but it comes and goes. Twice now when as i was reversing it did accelarate at all...i also put it in drive and it doesnt as well...all it does is rev the engine. I turned the car off and restarted it and then it worked again.
I took it to a local repair shop and they said that the car needs a new valve body which might cost $2k+. Want to get some advice before i dish out that kind of dough.
Any Ideas????

It sounds like a bad MAF Sensor, but it can be maaany things.
I'll mention some of what I recall right now:
- Clean and check your MAF Sensor.
- Check / replace spark plugs
- Check / replace fuel filter - fuel pump.
- Service fuel injectors.
And if nothing of that works, I'd take it to the dealership to have it checked and pay 150$ for that.
