Need some help with vim
So i brought a vim for a member on this site and installed myself
he brought the vim on this site : http://www.ebay.com/itm/360379775476?item=360379775476&viewitem=&vxp=mtr#ht_3050wt_1165
i did the installed and didnt have sound.. when to a audio shop and they found it was a fiber wire that i didnt switch over.
Now my problem is when i drive, i vim would work but it only does when it wants too. does anyone know whats the reason for this.

Your car may not have the right software installed on it. I had to have my 2008 flashed to a 2010 software package to get the VIM to work correctly.
It would only work when it wanted to. MidCity makes a much better product for VIM.

I had a Midcity module that would not work correctly in my 2008. I took it to the dealership and they reflashed it to the 2010 software. Worked great after that. Cost about $300 to have the car flashed to the 2010 software.
