Hey all,

I have been running with projector LEDs for my fog light assembly for a while now, but I wanted to know if HIDs would be better?

1. Do HIDs crack fog lights from over-heating?
2. Which give a better projection onto the road/overall lighting: HIDs for fogs, or LED projectors for fogs?

1. No. It would take a lot more than that to "crack" glass. If it even got hot enough, I would think the glass would melt rather than crack.
2. HIDs for fogs. Never heard of "LED projectors" in fogs, but generally, LEDs don't shine as far as HIDs.

One other question would be that since I swapped my luxury front bumper for a sport bumper, what HID lights would I go with? The connector is for the luxury, but the assembly is for the sport. Would I get the luxury ones, and then get a converter wire?

Sport would use H7 bulbs.

Alright, I would take it that I would just need the H7 to H11 converter after the fact. Thanks for your help!
