Blackout Rear Bumper Chrome Trim
I want to get rid of the rear chrome trim on my C300 Luxury (Avantgarde?). What is the best way of going about this, seeing as removing it does not seem like a keen idea. The bumper dips underneath the chrome trim -- removing it will not make the bumper look all that appealing.
How should I go about covering this up such that the chrome will match the rest of the paint of the vehicle? (I don't think painting it is such a hot idea either.)
Any products you can refer me to?

Just to be sure you like the look go to Lowes and buy a can of "Plasti Dip" black paint.
Look up "dipyourcar" on the web and see how easy it is to spray your chrome to change it. Give that a try for temporary and see if you really like the look. It can be used forever but you will need to touch it up from time to time. The best part about it is it peels off with no damage so if you dont like it no problem
