Question iPod and Car Battery Draining

If I have the iPod integration kit in my C300 and leave the iPod on 24/7 in the vehicle, will this ever cause my vehicle to stall or kill the battery? One would think this would not be an issue since Mercedes provided the integration feature.

Mine has been continuously plugged in since the day I bought the car, over five years and 75K miles ago. Never an issue.

Think you'll find that the charging process goes into sleep mode once ignition key is taken out when vehicle is parked and locked.

I've had iPods run completely dead in the glove compartment while plugged in after a few days of not driving. There is definitely no charging going on with the car off and key out of ignition.
