Need new transmission.
I have 2011 C300 4 Matic.
It is just over 83,000 kms now and I was hearing little whining noise since my last service B @ 78,000 kms.
I was busy and didn't think it is important issue - I had ball bearing issue before I though this is sam sort of problem.
But the dealer told me they are working on the warranty issue and need to order the new part - didn't tell me I need new transmission in the beginning.
So I asked "what is the problem?"
Then the service manager told me they have to order new transmission through my extended warranty coverage!! and they will have to work on the file tomorrow to head office and see if I get approved.
It worries me a lot.
I had many issues with my car.
It's been about three years now and...
Front ball bearing replace.
Front shock lubricated three times and replace.
Belt tensioner and belt replace.
Side mirror folding makes squeaky noise and lubricated many times and now with too much lubrication, it doesn't tile back up when I change gear from P to D
I get lamp/ light out warning messages from time to time, but when I restart it gores away.
Now I need new transmission.
all of the above is normal?? or should I sell mine and get different car??

I feel for you. I hope that the tranny fixes it. I really do. As for the mirrors, I thought Mercedes stop making electronic fold mirrors after 2009? Well, mines are manual and are all I need. I would sell it, seeing that you are STILL under warranty and you have documented maintenance via the dealer. Buyers like that. Hopefully the carfax and your price won't scare them, lol.
