Just picked up the 2014 C300 4MATIC last Friday. The up-shifting is rougher than I'm use to for a luxury car. Does anyone else experience this?

 

Just got mine about a month ago and I have the same thing happening.

This is my first Mercedes so I am not sure if this is normal but I would think a luxury car would shift smoother.

I have a 2008 VW R32 as well and it had a similar problem with hard shifting. The dealer did a software update to the transmission ECU to fix it.

You might try asking the dealer if there is an update to the transmission ecu.

 

I went to the dealer the day before yesterday to pickup floor mats from the deal, and asked them. They said to put may be 1000 - 2000 km on it first, and see, if the car still shifts rough, bring it to service.
