AMP/SUB Install HELP??

AMP/SUB Install HELP??
Hey guys, so I just recieved my amp install kit and LOC. Now its time to install them to my stock radio. Iv read through several other threads but im still a little confused on a few things. hopefully someone can clear things up for me... To Begin my car IS equipt with the HK sound system.
1. Iv read that people have tapped into the stock sub for the LOC outputs, Is this the best place to get my outputs from?
2. If answer to question 1 is yes, do I just tap into the wires that are plugging into the stock sub on the top?
3. After the LOC is correctly hooked up and sub is installed, I'v read where some have completely disabled their stock sub, and some have left it connected... which is the beat route?

PS: Not sure if it matters but the LOC I have is (Stinger SGN12)
