Replacing shock/strut replacement..due?
So im just shy of 100k on my 08 C350, never needed to replace the shocks/struts. Ive driven the hell out of it and shes been great to me but, recently ive been feeling like my front 2 struts/shocks have felt very soft, especially over bumps, if im doing more that 5-8mph over a speed bump i bottom out. This would be a great excuse to get some aftermarket coilovers/springs if i need to replace them but i dont need to spend the money right now with christmas a week away, Im curious if they need replacing around this mileage? anyone else seen have this happen around 100k?

People are going to probably tell you "it depends". However where "I" live, shock/strut replacement at 100k is definitely premature.
One way to test (on virtually any car) is to apply load on the questionable corner and release. If it oscillates more than once, then you most likely have worn shock absorbers.
