GPS NG sees satellites but doesn't use them?

GPS NG sees satellites but doesn't use them?
First time poster here, I've searched far and wide for an answer to this problem and am still stumped!
The attached diagnostics pictures provide detailed info. Basically, GPS via map positioning is working and the unit sees 9 satellites, but it doesn't use satellite positioning because of a bad antenna connection or something?
Has anyone else experienced this? When it first started, it was intermittent, showing the car in the wrong location, like in the middle of the ocean or 100 miles away from actual location. Now, it behaves like it has no signal.
The engineering menu shows GPS Antenna: NG, which I assume means Not Good. Error Code: 00000200. Under GPS, Visible: 9, Used: 0, Antenna: Short.
Any help would be appreciated! It would save me a $1200 trip to the dealer.
