2013 C-250 COMAND Audio Scrolling?
Hi
I purchased a C-class a few months ago in the US and had a question regarding the audio display on the COMAND.
While playing a song, it shows the ID3 tags from my mp3s correctly, but I have seen that if the album name is long, it doesn't show the full name.
same applies for the artists or for that matter song name.
it just ends with a ...
Is there a toggle setting somewhere that can make it scroll or let me view more info about the song being played?
I was comparing it with a friends Audi, and it pretty much showed lot more info than what COMAND shows. it had like a "details" screen, which kinda makes sense to me.
Fyi, This isn't specific to one audio source. i hv seen it on the iPod interface as well as bluetooth and the fact that it shows something in that tag means it can read it correctly but just can't display it in the screen real-estate.

I think if you hit the # button on the keypad it will show you the full information. It's basically the detailed screen you're talking about. I think it's # or *. Not 100% sure.

I found it interesting that songs played on bluetooth or thru the usb showed
Song name and album name on the details screen
whereas
songs played thru the iPod interface showed
Album name and Singers
