Looking for buying advice
Hello All:
Brand new to this forum and MB. Before I get flamed I figured I would ask first where the best place to get some buying advice for a MB newbie. I checked the stickies and a quick search for buying advice but didn't see anything. Looking at getting a 2011-2013 C300 4Matic and have a bunch of questions.
Thanks in advance

What do you mean by "buying" advice? Not car advice, but finance/money type of advice?
We can all give you advice about the cars...and most of us can probably explain some basic to advanced purchase questions too.
At this point, you need to decide if you want the older C300 4MATIC model or the updated/refresh model:
-2011 is old interior and old M272 and basic 7G transmission.
-2012 is refreshed exterior and interior with old engine and transmission
-2013+ has new M276 and 7G PLUS.
People love each for different reasons. You gotta go have some fun and check them out in person.

Thanks for the reply guys. To be specific, I'm looking for more technical/reliability advice as opposed to financing so to speak. Sorry for the confusion.
I'm just trying to find out any pitfalls, options or MY's that I should avoid. Worst thing I can do is not do my research then buy a vehicle and find out I bought a car with model XYZ trans for example and I get pi$$sed at myself for not doing my due diligence.
Spyked gave me some very helpful information which clears up many questions. Seeing his post I'm ruling out 2011 and am most likely going to go with the 2013. This car is for my wife. We live in NE so I'd like the 4Matic.
From my research these MY's seem to be pretty reliable with reasonable and proper maintenance. That is really my concern.
CPO vs. Used is also an area I need to make a decision on.
Then I found out about the A,B, C service points and the prepayment for those services, extended warranties, etc.

I bought a 2012 CPO and think the savings was well worth it, and the warrantee is also excellent on a CPO vehicle. Highly reccomend the Premium 1 package as it contains the Harmon Kardon stereo that sounds great.

2013 c300 is a wise choice. You are basically getting a stronger engine 248 HP . In fact it's the same M276 engine as the 2013 c350 model , but MB detuned it so it won't steal the thunder from the c350 300+ HP .

I assume it can be "tuned up" if you wish?
Being reasonable, what can you expect off an advertised CPO or used car price in a negotiation?

The interior is really refined as well. Can't go wrong with the power under the hood of the 2013 c300s. IMO you should wait till the w205 comes in the next couple months and the prices will drop dramatically.! But whatever car you do end up with the w204 is a overall great car!

thanks MB_21...I'm in no rush so maybe I will wait...u think two months is 2 months like Mid March or is early summer more reasonable?
